Pozďatín: Hotels and Accommodations
Pozďatín is situated on a granite island, and ponds are closely connected with the landscape around the town. This includes the Maršovec a Čepička protected area, which extends across the cadastral territories of Pozďatín and Pyšel.

Nature
Maršovec a Čepička is a highly significant locality for the fire-bellied toad (Bombina bombina) and has an exceptionally large population of this species. The protected area comprises two pond biotopes as well as adjacent wetlands and waterlogged alder forests.
Culture
Vrbinec Pond is already mentioned in historical sources from 1504. On the outskirts of Pozďatín, next to the former school building, stands the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk, dating from the 18th century.
The centrally located Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Pozďatín has a rectangular design and features a distinctive small tower with a bulbous dome, as well as a façade decorated with stucco. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary houses a bell made in 1771 by Georg Jan Schleichter.
Transport and Trails
Pozďatín railway station is located on railway line 257 between Křižanov and Studenec and is integrated into the Vysočina Region integrated transport system.
The “Pozďatínské rybníky” excursion route leads from Studenec railway station to Pozďatín along a green-marked trail. In addition, the 38.4 km “Za krajinou rybníků” cycling route, described as easy, passes ponds in the forests south of Pozďatín.
