History and Culture

In the forests near Pucov stands the Poslední vlk monument, erected in 1861. Above Pucov, beside the road from Jinošov to Pucov, stands a historic wayside shrine.

Pucov is a starting point for the route to St. Clement’s Church above the neighboring village of Jasenice. South of Pucov stand Baroque, three-sided masonry wayside shrines with a slightly projecting base profile. The Pucov wayside shrines have smooth walls with round-arched niches and modern paintings. They are topped with a tent roof bearing a metal cross at its peak.

Nature

The Bělizna recreational settlement near Pucov offers the opportunity to go swimming during the summer months. At Bělizna Pond, there is a beach with a sandbox and a slide.

Pucovská niva is considered an important landscape feature in the Bělizna area; in addition, a small pond serves an ecological function.

Běh do Křibu is a recurring mountain run in Pucov; the event has already been held for the 39th time.
