Šebkovice: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Šebkovice is a filial church of the Babice parish. Originally a Romanesque rotunda with a horseshoe-shaped apse, it was converted into a rectangular presbytery in the mid-13th century; further alterations took place in the 15th century. The church was part of a fortified settlement and has three preserved loopholes associated with its defensive function. The church grounds also contain a cross created by František Bílek in 1910.

The Bells of Reconciliation installed in Šebkovice bear the names St. Mary Magdalene, St. Francis of Paola and St. Mary. A cross donated by local residents stands on Tašky Hill; from there, there are views of the church in Čáslavice, Sádek Castle with its vineyards, and the southeast of the Třebíčsko region.

The Hájky nature monument is located in the municipality of Šebkovice, in the cadastral area of Milatice, in the Třebíč District of the Vysočina Region. Hájky comprises a historic lime-tree grove with natural undergrowth of herbs and shrubs. Four watercourses, including the Rokytná, converge in the Šebkovice area.

Šebkovice railway station is located on line 241 from Znojmo via Okříšky to Jihlava and is integrated into the regional transport system. There is no ticket office at Šebkovice station; tickets are sold on the train. Access to the station building, including the waiting room, is not barrier-free.
