Okřešice: Hotels and accommodation

Among the protected natural features is Lípa u Vantiberku, a small-leaved lime (Tilia cordata) near an agricultural building in the Vantiberk area. It lies in the cadastral district of Okřešice u Třebíče and was first placed under protection on 28 October 1982. Its trunk circumference is 417 centimetres and its height is 24 metres. Okřešice is also home to a group of protected trees.

The northern, southwestern and western outskirts of the Okřešice area rise into hilly landscapes. In the wider regional surroundings of Okřešice, the route passes by the approximately 650-year-old maple above Velký Javor and then continues towards Čechtín.

A water reservoir lies in the centre of the village green in Okřešice. The water reservoir near Okřešice allows for recreational bathing. Wayside holy images have also been preserved near Okřešice, along field paths and in the fields.

The Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua in Okřešice was built in 1910 and received a new bell in 1969. The first written mention of Okřešice dates from 1556.

The origins of Okřešice are linked to the Benedictines of Třebíč and the vanished settlement of Křižanov. The village has traditional buildings consisting mainly of farmsteads arranged in a horseshoe shape open towards the east.

The 50-kilometre “For pasque flowers and to Velký Javor” route reaches the road to Okřešice. The “Through the Třebíčsko Nature Park” route follows Cycle Route 5214 towards Okřešice. Cycle Route 5214 passes through Račerovice to Sokolí.

Another route runs from Třebíč through Okřešice, Horní Vilémovice, Rudíkov, Nárameč, Kojatín and Pozďatín to Studenecký rybník.
