Soběsuky: Hotels, Chřiby and Cultural Monuments
Soběsuky lies at the foot of the Chřiby Protected Landscape Area. The village combines distinctive religious buildings, memorial sites and annual events with routes through the northern Chřiby, a viewpoint and several named trails. The local part of Milovice is also part of the area’s geographical character: part of the Chřiby Natura 2000 site is located there, and designated camping pitches are available at Ranč Milovice.
Culture
Soběsuky is home to the bell tower of Saint Florian. The village also contains the Saint Florian roadside shrine, which was added to the list of cultural monuments of the South Moravian Region in 1964. Another visible reminder of the village’s history is the monument to those who fell in the First and Second World Wars. Milovice is also home to the Chapel of Saint John the Baptist.
Events
The annual calendar in Soběsuky includes two regularly recurring events: a carnival procession takes place every year, and there is also an annual children’s carnival.
Landscape
The Chřiby Natura 2000 site includes the cadastral territory of Milovice. Soběsuky has its own viewpoint on the outskirts of the village. From there, the view extends to the Litenčice Hills. The viewpoint has seating, and an information board provides details about local monuments. The local part of Milovice and the outskirts of Soběsuky therefore mark two different points of reference: the Natura 2000 site lies within the cadastral territory, while the viewpoint is on the outskirts of the village.
Trails
The trails through the northern Chřiby are primarily intended for hiking. Most are also suitable for mountain biking, running and Nordic walking. Hiking and cycling trips to Bunč are available from Soběsuky. In addition, Cycle Route 5020 runs through the cadastral territory of Soběsuky.
Named routes also pass through the village. The “Okolím Zdounek” route runs through Soběsuky, Zdounky, Nětčice and Šelešovice. Another route leads over two ridges and offers views of Kroměříž and the surrounding area, the Hostýnské vrchy and, above all, the Chřiby.
Also pay attention to the included services, individual price components, and the booking and cancellation conditions. These details may vary from one offer to another. Compare the information directly on the offer pages before choosing a specific option. You can also check which location is listed as the address in the offer, how many people the occupancy applies to, and whether the stated price already includes all relevant components. It is likewise worth checking the type of accommodation, the included services, and the deadlines and possible costs associated with a change or cancellation. The specific values of each individual offer are decisive; general expectations about the location are not. The comparison view may show different levels of detail; what matters is that all fields visible before booking are read in full.
