In Kroměříž, the ensemble comprises the Archbishop's Palace, Podzámecká zahrada and Květná zahrada. The underground exhibition cabinet of the Museum of the Kroměříž Region presents the cultural and historical development of Kroměříž from its origins to the early modern period. The Šachova Synagogue in Holešov is the only synagogue of the Polish type preserved in its original form and is described as a unique example worldwide.

The Rymice Open-Air Museum combines seven buildings of East Hanakian folk architecture with a fortress and an agricultural farmstead. The village buildings document local living and agriculture over the last two centuries and stand at their original locations.

The Velké Těšany Windmill is a wooden windmill of the German type and was designated a national cultural monument in 2014. The mill is divided into the levels podemlýní, mlýnice and zanáška, corresponding to the ground floor, first floor and second floor. It has been open to the public since 1979.

Květná zahrada draws on French, Italian, Dutch and German garden models; Versailles is cited as an inspiration. Its features include a central pavilion with a Foucalt pendulum, a colonnade, fountains, green mazes, greenhouses and the Jahodové kopečky.

Nature

The Hostýnské vrchy are a Natura 2000 site of European importance covering an area of 2,396.5914 hectares. Preserved forest stands and unregulated streams provide refuge for rare animal and plant species. The extensive forest biotopes serve as nesting habitats for birds, including the black woodpecker.

Podzámecká zahrada is a 64-hectare English landscape park with rare trees, water channels, ponds, original structures and a small zoo area. Chropyňský rybník has a pond with floating water chestnut and a diverse bird population.

Trails

The summit of Barbořina lies at an elevation of 265 meters and offers views over Kroměříž, the Hornomoravský úval and the Hostýnské vrchy. There is also the approximately one-kilometer-long Naučná stezka veverky Čiperky nature trail.

Route 1: Arcibiskupský zámek a zahrady is 1.5 kilometers long and takes approximately 30 minutes without individual visits to the individual sites. Kroměříž also offers short thematic walks through the town that can be followed without a guide and are designed for a broad range of visitors. The Hostýnská vyhlídka excursion route connects Kroměříž, Hulín, Rymice, Holešov, Brusne, Rusava, Svatý Hostýn and Bystrice Pod Hostynem. It can be combined with a train journey back to Kroměříž.
