Dolni Becva: Hotels and Accommodations
Dolní Bečva is located in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids below Mount Radhošť. The northern boundary of the cadastral territory of Dolní Bečva, which also forms the district boundary, runs along the ridge of the Radhošť Beskids.
Nature and Trails
Dolní Bečva is a starting point for hiking trails to Radhošť. Cycle Route No. 6260 Bečva also runs through the Rožnov Valley and Dolní Bečva.
In winter, groomed cross-country ski trails run from the Mír chalet via Pustevny to Martinák. Pustevny is known for the picturesque wooden buildings designed by the architect Dušan Jurkovič.
Tourist attractions on Radhošť include a statue of the pagan god Radegast and a chapel dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius.
Winter Sports
The Pod Kaplí ski slope is located on the northwestern side of Mount Radhošť in the Průsek area and is 447 meters long. The Pod Kaplí ski lift has a capacity of 450 people per hour; its operation depends on snow conditions.
Sports
The Valašský golfový klub complex is located in the cadastral territory of the municipality of Dolní Bečva. The club operates a public nine-hole golf course there, which is also accessible to golfers without a golf proficiency certificate; the grounds also include two tennis courts.
A beach sports center is located in the sports complex by the Bečva River in Dolní Bečva.
Culture
The parish Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Dolní Bečva was built and consecrated in 1907. A brick chapel with a bell, built in 1848, stands in the Horní Rozpité valley. Dolní Bečva is also home to a wooden bell tower, one of the area’s architecturally interesting structures. The village landscape also includes buildings featuring traditional folk architecture.

VKP operates a factory outlet in Dolní Bečva offering sausages directly from the producer, traditional slaughterhouse specialties, as well as fresh pork, beef, and chicken. At the VALAŠSKÉ DOBROTY stands in Dolní Bečva, visitors can sample regional Wallachian specialties such as sheep cheese, Korbáčiky, and Frgál.
A neighborhood tasting event featuring homemade sauerkraut is held repeatedly in Dolní Bečva; the fourth edition took place on January 24, 2026, and another edition was announced for January 2027.

Bus line 762 runs from Rožnov pod Radhoštěm via Dolní Bečva toward Pustevny; the timetable is valid from December 14, 2025, to December 12, 2026.
