Culture

The wooden bell tower of Vidče is a traditional timber-built structure and also the oldest cultural monument in the municipality. According to the date on one of the beams, it dates from 1812.

The Church of St. Cyril and Methodius in Vidče is a valuable example of Neo-Gothic architecture. It was built between 1908 and 1914.

The Valašenka children's folk ensemble from Vidče was founded in 1953. Valašenka put together ethnographic programmes depicting life in a Wallachian village from spring through winter.

In the wider region around Vidče are the Lukov Castle Ruins and the Church of St. Mary.

Nature

The Maretka stream flows into the Bečva River. At 597 metres, Videčské paseky is the highest point in the municipality of Vidče.

In the immediate vicinity of Vidče are the mountains Hárovické Díly, Cáb and Kamenárka, as well as the natural arch Freescale Semiconductor Roznov.

The surroundings of Vidče offer views of the Veřovické vrchy, Vsacké vrchy and Hostýnské vrchy mountain ranges, and especially of Radhošť.

A cycle route and the Hradisko educational trail pass through Vidče. The Hradisko educational trail provides historical and natural history information about significant areas of the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area.

In winter, several easy, well-maintained cross-country ski trails can be used in Vidče.
