Jarcová: Hotels and Accommodation

Jarcovská kula is an 8-metre-high, coarse-grained sandstone rock tower with a special vantage point overlooking the surrounding landscape.

Culture

The two cultural monuments in the municipality of Jarcová include a wayside shrine dating from 1863. In the wider region around Jarcová, there are also Zámek Lešná Castle, the ruins of Zřícenina Lukov and Svatá Marie Church.

Transport and Routes

Jarcová’s basic transport connections to the surrounding areas of the Vsetín District are provided exclusively by regular bus services. The Bečva Cycling Trail runs along the river in Jarcová and forms part of an extensive route in the Vsetín District.

Events

The Vánoční jarmark, featuring the lighting of the Christmas tree at the beginning of Advent, has been a tradition in Jarcová since 2011. On 28 December 2025, the municipality of Jarcová held the traditional Dobytí Jarčovské kuly for the 16th time. Bean soup, mulled wine, hot tea for children, grilled sausages and beer were offered at the hut.
