Lípa: Hotel, nature and cycling paths along the Dřevnice
Lípa lies on the left bank of the Dřevnice River. The first written mention of the village appears in an entry from 1261. These two details alone give the destination a clear profile: its riverside location is just as much a part of the local character as its history, which reaches back to the Middle Ages.
Nature
Lípa’s connection with nature includes the Zelené údolí protected area. It covers the cadastral area of Lípa nad Dřevnicí. The protection objectives for the area include a mineral water spring. The water from this spring in Zelené údolí contains sulphur, hydrogen carbonate and sulphate, calcium and magnesium, and is hypotonic. Thus, this landscape area is defined not only by its protected surroundings but also by the special properties of its spring water.
Cycling and hiking
The main Otrokovice–Zlín–Vizovice cycling route runs along the Dřevnice and Lutoninka rivers and connects the towns and municipalities of the Zlín agglomeration. Lípa nad Dřevnicí lies on this main cycling route between Zlín and Vizovice. One section runs from Lužkovice through the cadastral area of Klečůvka to the municipality of Lípa nad Dřevnicí.
A specific hiking route is also associated with Lípa: the route “[Z] Horní Lhota (bus) – Lípa (ČSA)” is 9.2 km long. The designation names both the starting point, Horní Lhota with the addition “bus”, and the destination, Lípa with the addition “ČSA”.
Culture and community
In the village landscape, a small chapel is regarded as the most beautiful building in the municipality of Lípa. After extensive renovation, Sokolovna Lípa reopened on 1 July 2016. At that time, a hall with 120 seats, as well as the Sokolovna Café with 50 seats and a 20-seat lounge, could be rented there for sporting, cultural and social events.
Cuisine
Rybářská bašta Lípa offers fish specialities made from freshwater and sea fish. Fish soup is one of its specialities. The culinary offering is therefore clearly focused on fish dishes and fish from different types of origin.
It is also useful to look at the services included, individual price components, and the booking and cancellation conditions. This keeps the differences between the offers comprehensible without assuming features that still need to be confirmed on the respective page. In addition, you can check the exact location, type of accommodation and occupancy on the offer page. The question of which services are already included and which costs are listed separately can also be compared more clearly there. Before booking, the conditions for changes and cancellation stated there can also help ensure that the selected option remains transparent. When comparing offers for Lípa, you can also check the stated length of stay, number of guests and any additional costs side by side. A comparison remains clear if you consider the same fields for each option: exact location, type of accommodation, occupancy, included services, price components, and change and cancellation conditions, supplemented where applicable by the stated total price.
