Kiketi: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture

Kiketi Farm is a 10-hectare multifunctional complex established as a recreational, cultural, and educational venue on the grounds of a Soviet-era farm. The farm includes the ethnographic “Village” complex, with Oda houses brought here from western Georgia.

Kiketi Farm offers creative workshops and hands-on activities inspired by life on a farm. Practical programs include photography, gardening, and archaeology. Historical records first mention Kiketi in the 18th century under the name “Sabaratiano village.” In the Kiketi area, archaeologists discovered Samarovani, a Bronze Age cemetery. Kabeni Monastery dates back to the 13th century and stands on the ridge of the Asuretistskali River.

Landscape

Kiketi has warm, dry summers and cold winters. The area’s mixed forest consists of spruce, fir, oak, and beech trees.

Activities

Kiketi Farm offers horseback rides along forest trails, through hilly terrain, and across open meadows. Its spa includes steam rooms, treatments, wellness rituals, and panoramic views of the Kiketi landscape.

The hike from Kojori to Kiketi is approximately 7 kilometers one way, takes about 2 to 3 hours, is mostly flat or downhill, and ends in Kiketi.

A cycling trail begins at the turnoff to Kiketi, where mountain bike tours are organized. The trail passes through the settlement and runs mostly along a forest road. The Kiketi–Asureti cycling route has almost no climbs and leads downhill toward Asureti; mountain bikes are recommended for it. The Kiketi cycling route offers views of Kvemo Kartli.

Getting There

Bus route 316 runs from central Tbilisi via Kojori to Kiketi. The journey to the starting point of the hike in Kojori takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes; the same route is used for the return journey from Kiketi.

Food and Wellness

Kiketi Farm’s Native Restaurant serves food according to the farm-to-table principle. Natural qvevri wines and oak-aged wines are served with seasonal dishes.
