Nature

Tsaghveri is a climatic and balneological spa resort at an elevation of approximately 1,025–1,050 metres above sea level. The settlement lies between mountains covered with coniferous forests.

Culture

Tsaghveri is home to the single-nave St. George's Basilica, dating from the 14th century. It was built on a platform cut into the rock.

Activities

Hiking in Tsaghveri includes trails described as both easy and challenging excursions. They lead to the mountains of Gvirgvina and Tortiza as well as to Uznariani Fortress.

A 23-kilometre cycling route through the Borjomi Valley continues to Tsaghveri. Before that, it passes through a coniferous forest and over the Gujarula River; the route is predominantly on unpaved dirt roads and includes some paved sections.
