Tsemi: Hotels and Accommodations

The wider area of the Borjomi Gorge around Tsemi comprises extensive coniferous, deciduous, and mixed forests. At higher elevations, the forests transition into subalpine meadows. Tsemi belongs to the group of health and spa resorts of Borjomi. The accommodation described in Tsemi also includes organized family hotels.

Culture and History

The Borjomi-Bakuriani railway includes the Tsemi-Tsaghveri Bridge and a railway station with railway buildings in Tsemi. The railway serves holidaymakers, skiing enthusiasts, and tourists. Patara Tsemi Sanatorium was founded in 1904 by physician Vakhtang Gambashidze and his father. Children aged eight to 16 with tuberculosis were treated there.

Leisure

The Gantiadi Mountain Resort in Tsemi features a four-hectare forest park. The forest park provides space for walks and picnics. The Gantiadi Mountain Resort also offers physiotherapy focusing on joint health and rehabilitation, as well as climatotherapy in its forest and mountain landscape.
