The Csodabogyós Cave offers a glimpse of impressive stalactite formations. Dozens of human-sized stalagmite columns and thousands of stalactites can be found in the 20 × 20-metre “Függőkert” hall. The cave is more than 6 kilometres long in total. When planning a visit, also allow for the journey to the entrance: it cannot be reached by car. The temperature inside remains around 9.5 °C year-round, with relative humidity of 100 percent. These conditions differ considerably from being outdoors. Those interested in regional everyday life and agricultural history can find a different perspective at the Tájház. The local history museum was opened in 2010. Its first exhibition featured equipment used in viticulture and winemaking. The Tájház includes an attic, indoor and outdoor ovens, and outdoor exhibition areas. It has been described as the first open-air or local history museum of its kind in the region.

The history of the area’s architecture can also be explored at several distinct sites. The Catholic church is dedicated to John the Baptist and is listed by the municipality as a nationally protected historic building. An earlier church under the same patronage was built in the 14th century, but no longer exists. Fekete Castle is also among Balatonederics’ nationally protected historic buildings.

The Bringatanya fishing collection illustrates the wildlife of Lake Balaton and displays equipment used in fishing. Visitors can use QR codes to access additional information and facts about selected exhibits. Together, the collection’s natural history perspective on the lake and its presentation of fishing offer complementary themes.

Paid operations at Balatonederics beach are scheduled from 15 June to 31 August. Weather-related changes to the operating period are possible. Daily opening hours are listed as 8:00 to 19:00. The facilities can be used by anyone during opening hours for a fee. The Szabó Pince winery offers another local perspective. Wine tastings and wine by the glass are available on the terraces, with views of Lake Balaton and the surrounding mountains.
