Culture
The church of Humor Monastery, founded by Toader Bubuiog, was fortified with a defensive wall with towers at its corners. The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary at the former Humor Monastery dates from before 1415. Its narthex vault features a painting of the Mother of God Platytera, and it also has exterior wall paintings with traditional themes.
The Humor monastic complex included a princely residence or an abbot’s house with a cellar. The local folk costume is known as “mănăstirean”. Poiana Micului is home to a Catholic church built in 2011 and dedicated to Saint Pope John Paul II. At the Piatra Șoimului rock formation, a local resident carved several figures of Jesus, Eminescu, and Pope John Paul II into the stone.

It starts at the edge of the village of Mănăstirea Humorului and follows a forest road along the Țiganca Valley to Obcina Cacica. The hiking trail is considered accessible year-round.
The route to Peștera Vrăjitoarelor in Pleșa is considered relatively easy and allows access by car or on foot. The rock formations at Peștera Vrăjitoarelor feature stone sculptures by the artist Bolek Maierik. A viewpoint near Peștera Vrăjitoarelor offers views over the Humor Valley and the Rădăuți Basin.
