Jurilovca lies on the shore of the Razelm-Sinoe lagoon complex. The name of the body of water is therefore directly connected to the town’s geographical location and forms the starting point for the other topics: water, traditional architecture, history and regional customs.

The Argamum archaeological site lies within the administrative territory of Jurilovca and is located entirely within the strictly protected zone of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve. The site is therefore associated both with Jurilovca and with a precisely defined protected area.

Boats depart daily from the Jurilovca tourist harbor for Gura Portiței and the Danube Delta. The reference to daily departures applies to the boat connections and should not automatically be transferred to the kayak tours.
