Šúrovce: Hotels, Church Art and Rural Landscape

Šúrovce places a specific piece of architectural and local history at the centre of attention with the Church of St Michael the Archangel. The neoclassical church was built between 1793 and 1811 on the site of an older place of worship. Its furnishings preserve late Baroque and neoclassical elements: a late Baroque side altar, a neoclassical pulpit, a neoclassical baptismal font and a painting of the Crucifixion.
