Prebold: Hotels, Mountain Hiking Route and St. Paul

Prebold can be explored via a clearly named mountain hiking route and a marked public trail network. The Preboldska planinska pot is classified as an easy mountain hiking trail and includes 10 peaks that are geographically located within the Municipality of Prebold. The marked public trail network of Planinsko društvo Prebold comprises around 50 kilometres of routes, including roads, cart tracks and footpaths, as well as the BODIKA circular educational trail. The route and the network represent different levels of the range of trails on offer: the first designation identifies a classified mountain hiking route, while the second identifies a public trail network comprising different types of paths. Nature

Reška Planina is a mountain in the vicinity of Prebold, as is Kukel. Mrzlica and Gozdnik are mountains in the area around Prebold. The Blažev bivak on Golava stands on one of the peaks of the Posavsko hribovje. On 24 June 2006, Planinsko društvo Prebold received it as a new facility.

Culture

The parish church of St. Paul in Prebold is Neo-Romanesque. The oldest known document mentioning the Church of St. Paul in the then-parish of Braslovče was written in Latin on 9 January 1302. The building classification and the precisely dated document provide two different approaches to the same church site: one through its architecture and the other through its written mention.

Next to the Družabni center Muzejska zbirka Prebold, a covered market area was set up in a wooden pavilion for market activities during bad weather. The connection with the weather is explicitly part of the pavilion's function here. Bazen Prebold is a seasonal outdoor swimming pool in the green area of Prebold Grove next to the sports park. It has a large and a small pool with naturally heated water and is suitable for daily swimming. The market area and the outdoor pool therefore represent two different types of public use.
