Rajhenburg Castle was built between 1131 and 1147; its oldest surviving part is Romanesque. The castle features permanent and temporary exhibitions and hosts concerts, theater performances, and lectures.

Culture

Krško City Park invites visitors to stroll among trees on the site of a former cemetery. The Trappist Trail leads to Rajhenburg Castle and past a 150-year-old yew planted by Trappists.
The Brestanica hiking trail begins in the market center of Brestanica at the pillory, leads uphill to St. Mohor Church, and continues through Sremič and Grmada as well as through vineyards. The Krka River runs along the southern edge of the Krško polje.
The Ribniki Mačkovci ponds offer the opportunity to fish for various freshwater fish species in idyllic surroundings. There are more than 25 themed hiking and cycling routes of varying lengths and difficulty levels in the surrounding area. The cycling trails in Krško lead through fields or over the surrounding hills and offer views of natural and cultural attractions along the way.

The Krško Nuclear Power Plant organizes tours every working day except during scheduled outages. Visits to the Krško Nuclear Power Plant must be announced and arranged in advance. A visit may include a presentation on the plant's operation and a guided tour by bus or on foot.
Brestanica Swimming Pool features a 50 × 25-meter pool heated to 27°C, a children's paddling pool, and wheelchair-accessible access.
The Raceland kart track features a 1,050-meter karting track with 16 turns and offers kart rental.
The Čebelarski Center Krško offers group-suitable tours, insights into beehives, contact with bees, practical workshops, and presentations on beekeeping equipment and beekeeping techniques.
Water and wine
Fishing is possible on the Sava River in the Krško destination. On the Krka, visitors can paddle kayaks, canoes, or larger boats.
