Radovljica – Culture, Nature and Sights

Radovljica’s town moat is the only surviving town moat in Slovenia. The Beekeeping Museum in Radovljica has presented the heritage of Slovenian beekeeping since 1959. The Magušar House presents the pottery tradition of the Gorenjska region. Both sites represent traditional forms of craftsmanship that are made visible in Radovljica through specific objects and regional connections.

The Lectar Workshop displays historical tools, old equipment for baking and decorating, as well as gingerbread products several decades old. The Lectar Workshop also organises workshops for larger and smaller groups on making traditional gingerbread hearts.
