Culture

In 2001, the History and Ethnography Museum opened in Khinalig, presenting the history and cultural heritage of the village. The History and Archaeology Museum of Khinalig displays more than 5,000 exhibits. Knitting wool socks is a widespread tradition among the women of Khinalig.

Quba’s National Golf Club was the first golf course in Azerbaijan. The route from Xınalıq to Qalaxudat is 8.2 kilometers long and offers views of Mount Qızılqaya and the Qudyalçay Valley.

Transport

The highway from Baku via Quba to the Russian border includes a 129-kilometer toll section that is accessed and paid for using chip cards. The wider northern transport network also includes highways, buses, taxis, and shared cars.

The road to the recreation centers along the Ermyaki route was described as paved, while other roads were described as neglected.
