Hotels in Dvorovi: Spa, Church Art and Folklore

Banja Dvorovi has an Olympic-size swimming pool, two smaller pools and two children's pools. These pools are supplied with thermal water and cooled to the desired bathing temperature. The spa also has courts for tennis, handball, volleyball and basketball. The JUB “Dvorovi” Sports and Recreation Centre has five swimming pools with a capacity of 6,000 visitors. The JUB “Dvorovi” spa complex also includes a small-sided football pitch.

The Church of the Holy Great Martyr Procopius in Dvorovi has a clearly documented construction and furnishing history. Construction began in 1992 and was completed in 1996; the church was consecrated on 29 September 1996. From 2002 to 2003, it was painted with frescoes by Petar Bilić from Belgrade. In 2013, the church received a new, carved limewood iconostasis.

The area's older history is also documented by archaeological finds. Material traces from the Bronze Age and Iron Age have been found in the Dvorovi area. Dvorovi is one of the local areas in the Bijeljina region where the largest number of prehistoric finds from these periods have been discovered. The Semberija Museum in Bijeljina displays a sword from the 15th century found at the site in Dvorovi.

The “Znanjem, pjesmom i igrom kroz Semberiju” festival has been held since 1967. On 12 March 2026, a qualifying evening took place at the Cultural Centre in Dvorovi, where Dvorovi competed against Velika Obarska.

The International Children's Folklore Festival “Dvorovi 2019” was held for the ninth time at the pools of Banja Dvorovi. It was attended by 11 cultural and artistic associations, with a total of 420 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Austria, Croatia and Romania. At the folklore festival in Dvorovi, the participants paraded through Dvorovi and then performed traditional dances for the audience at the swimming pool complex of Banja Dvorovi.

The patron saint's day of Saint Procopius in Dvorovi was scheduled for 21 July 2026. An Orthodox liturgy followed by a procession around the church was planned.
