Lukavica: Memorial Sites, Culture and Regional Mountains
Lukavica combines specific cultural venues, memorial sites and regional connections. At the heart of Park Sunca in the municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo, a memorial complex is being created for Serbian civilians who lost their lives in Sarajevo and the Sarajevo-Romanija region during the 20th century. The “Beli Anđeo” forms the central part of the memorial complex and conveys a universal message of peace. Visitors to the memorial complex can view information about the victims compiled on digital panels.
