Laminci Sređani: Hotel, Jezero Laminci and Historical Sites

In Laminci Sređani, the Jezero Laminci sports and leisure complex includes an artificial lake for swimming and sport fishing. A path approximately one kilometre long runs around the lake and is suitable for running, walking and cycling. The complex also includes two tennis courts, which visitors can rent by the hour. The Prenoćište “Jezero” accommodation is located in the Jezero Laminci tourist complex; it has six rooms and a total of 16 beds.

Baćin in Laminci Sređani is a medieval Gradište, meaning a fortified earthwork. The site was protected by two defensive ramparts.

The Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah stands at the Cintor site in Laminci Sređani. Cintor is also known as Fox Hill; in Roman times, a fortress stood there, and the Livač or Levač castle was built on its foundations in the Middle Ages.

Laminci Sređani is home to a monument to fallen Partisan fighters and victims of fascist terror from 1941 to 1945. It is associated with the villages of Laminci Brezici, Laminci Dubrave, Laminci Sređani and Laminci Jaružani.

A pre-Roman settlement existed on the Ivaštani farmland in Laminci Sređani and continued to exist during the Roman period. Laminci Sređani is home to the birthplace of Prote Subotić, which is regarded as an example of the rural landscape of the late 19th century. Prote Dusan Subotic (1884–1941), a figure of the Burgenland Enlightenment, was born in this house. The site thus combines an archaeologically documented settlement with a building associated with a historical figure and a specific rural era.
