A monument to those who fell in wars stands in the centre of Gyulyovtsa. Also located in the village centre is a memorial plaque commemorating people from Gyulyovtsa who lost their lives in the Second World War.

Regional Traditions

The land around Gyulyovtsa holds national records for grape yield per decare. Gyulyovtsa is associated with homemade wines produced using traditional methods.

The young wine festival is held annually in Gyulyovtsa on 14 February. In the 17th century, the valley surrounding Gyulyovtsa was planted with oil-bearing roses, and rose oil production began.
