Geographical Location

Priseltsi is located on the northern mountain periphery of the Municipality of Nessebar, in a transitional zone between the eastern Stara Planina mountain range and the Black Sea coast. The village lies within an area designated as having potential for mountain and ecotourism.

Nature

Priseltsi is included in the Kamchiyska Mountain protected bird zone, code BG0002044. West of the village lies the Dalgata stoka forest, which stretches along the road to the village. South of Priseltsi, beech and walnut forests cover the slopes of the Stara Planina.

Along the mountain path are meadows offering views of Priseltsi and the Black Sea coast near Obzor.

Culture and History

The residents of Priseltsi contributed traditional agricultural implements to the Ethnographic Museum of Nessebar. The Achmite locality in Priseltsi is associated with an ancient and medieval Bulgarian settlement, an underground tunnel from late antiquity, and the remains of a bridge from late antiquity.

Paths and Routes

A path begins in the forest south of Priseltsi and extends high into the mountains. A route along an unpaved road to the northern entrance of Secret Military Object A begins at the well on the outskirts of Priseltsi. At its highest point, the hike reaches the Kom–Emine route.

The abandoned tunnel connected to Secret Military Object A is located in the area of Priseltsi and Kosharitsa.
