Trails
The Sveta Nedelya eco-trail in Zlatograd is 12 km long, takes about three hours, and has around 400 metres of elevation gain. It is marked in blue and equipped with wooden signs.
The Sveta Nedelya Trail begins at Zlatograd’s Vodenitsa. The neighbouring tavern offers local specialities, including kachamak made from freshly ground flour, patatnik, and klin.
Zlatograd has three established cycling routes; bicycles can be rented at the tourist information centre in the old town.
The Zlatograd–St. Atanas cycling and eco-trail is 3 km long, begins at Gorski Patnik Road, and ends at the summit of St. Atanas.
The cycle path at the Zlatograd Reservoir is 2 km long, begins on Belovidovo Street near the Roman Bridge, and runs entirely along an asphalt-concrete road.
