Hlasna Treban: Hotels and Accommodations

Hlásná Třebaň lies on the left bank of the Berounka River and on the edge of the Český kras Protected Landscape Area. The Karlštejn National Nature Reserve also includes the cadastral area of Hlásná Třebaň. It contains world-famous Paleozoic geological profiles and paleontological sites, as well as above-ground and underground karst formations.

History and Townscape

The area where Hlásná Třebaň is located was already settled in the Early and Late Bronze Ages and during the Hallstatt period. The first mention of Hlásná Třebaň in historical sources dates from the year 1000. In 1357, Charles IV bought the village and incorporated it into the newly established Karlštejn Castle estate.

At the end of the 19th century, Hlásná Třebaň was a small, predominantly agricultural community with several farmsteads featuring gates in the folk Baroque style, as well as houses around a village green with a chapel. The municipality also preserves a surviving section of the linear fortifications dating from 1936–1937, which constitutes a historical testament to Czechoslovak defense efforts. At the end of the 1930s, Hlásná Třebaň became a popular holiday resort.

Routes and Connections

The Geologická naučná stezka educational trail begins in Hlásná Třebaň. It is approximately 39 kilometers long and is primarily used as a cycling route. Along the route, visitors can determine the order of the stations themselves or choose to complete only part of the route. A cycling route in the Berounsko region leads from Hlásná Třebaň across a pedestrian bridge to Zadní Třebaň and then follows the railway line to Řevnice. The EV4 cycle route runs toward Hlásná Třebaň.

From Zadní Třebaň railway station, there is a connection to Prague via railway line 171 Praha–Beroun. The journey to central Prague takes 38 minutes; trains run every half hour.

Events

A Masopust carnival described as traditional was announced for February 7, 2026, in Hlásná Třebaň and Rovina. As part of the Masopust announced for that day, the zabíjačkové hody feast will begin at 3:30 p.m. in front of the municipal office.

The municipality’s cultural program for 2026 lists the Staročeské máje festivities organized by TJ Sokol Hlásná Třebaň for May 16, as well as Hasoběh organized by SDH Hlásná Třebaň. Pálení čarodějnic is also listed for April 30 at the lower weir, organized by SDH Hlásná Třebaň. A Dětský den described as traditional for children and their parents was also announced for 2026.
