Jince: Hotels and Accommodations

The “Z Jinec na Olymp Brd” educational trail begins at Jince railway station. The route is 17.3 kilometers long and features 16 information panels. Another starting point is at the U mostu trail junction: this is where the “Za jineckými trilobity” route begins along the green-marked hiking trail.

The “Plešivecká Odyssea” route also begins at the U mostu trail junction in the center of Jince. The Jince biotope, a natural swimming pool with a natural water purification system, is also part of the town’s nature-oriented character. The grounds include a well-maintained lawn and a volleyball court.

The Church of St. Nicholas in Jince is protected as a cultural monument and is documented as early as 1352. The parish Church of St. Nicholas is accessible without barriers. Another historical connection is Josef Slavík, who was born in Jince in house no. 8.

The Společenské centrum in Jince organizes the annual “Slavíkovy Jince” concert in memory of Josef Slavík. At Huť Barbora, heritage and industrial history come together: it is a cultural monument and the last surviving charcoal-fired Valon furnace. Guided tours with commentary are offered at Huť Barbora.

Jince railway station is located on line 200 between Beroun and Protivín. The line continues toward Praha and České Budějovice.
