Kladno: Hotels and Accommodation
Kladenský zámek was extensively rebuilt between 1737 and 1740 on the site of a medieval fortress, based on a design by Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer; the reconstruction was carried out for Břevnov Benedictine Monastery.
Culture
Kladenský zámek houses the Chapel of Saint Lawrence, completed in 1740. It is oval in shape, has a domed vault and is incorporated into a quadrangular wing of the chateau. At the same time, it is considered the historically most valuable part of Kladenský zámek.
The Church of Saint Nicholas in Kladno has been protected as a cultural monument since 5 April 2022. The two-nave, non-oriented building has a distinctive dominant tower dating from 1912–1913 and combines historicist styles, Art Nouveau and modernism.

A tour includes the entrance hall, an exhibition, a model apartment, a rooftop terrace viewpoint and a visit to civil defence bunkers. The museum presents six Kladno high-rise buildings constructed between 1953 and 1957, which rank among the most significant achievements in 20th-century housing construction.
A service is held every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the Church of Saint Wenceslas in Kladno-Rozdělov.
