Kolín: Hotels and Accommodation

Several points of interest are located on Bartolomějské návrší. The ossuary is richly ornamented; the former parish school building houses an interactive exhibition. The bell tower contains the church treasury and a lapidarium; it also offers views of Kolín city centre.

Culture

The Veigertovský House houses an exhibition in its Gothic cellars on the historical and architectural development of the building from the 13th to the 21st century. It includes numerous archaeological finds from 2014–2015, as well as a model illustrating the appearance of the house at the beginning of the 19th century.

Concerts, occasional prayers and memorial services commemorating the victims of the Holocaust take place in Kolín Synagogue, dating from 1422.

Nature

The green parkland on Bartolomějské návrší invites visitors to go for walks and relax by the herb garden and rose garden.

Borky Forest Park offers opportunities for walking, cycling and inline skating along the flat banks of the Elbe. The easy terrain in Kolín is also suitable for recreational running.

Leisure

Vodní svět Kolín offers an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool, sports facilities, wellness services and a swimming school.

The Kolínská řepařská drážka includes excursion trains, a museum exhibition about beet railways and a children's park. It is a narrow-gauge railway for passenger transport, approximately 4.5 km long, running from Kolín to Býchory railway station; the train journey takes about 50 minutes.

The Školka via ferrata in Kolín is a protected climbing route of difficulty level B and a length of 35 m.
