Milín: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of St Wenceslas was created by converting a granary dating from 1824. From 1887 to 1890, it was built by the master builder Antonín Bastl from Příbram. An air raid damaged the church in 1945; it was subsequently repaired from 1946 to 1948. On 27 September 1890, it was consecrated by the metropolitan canon Dr František Krásl.

The Centrum volnočasových aktivit serves visitors as a cultural, information and tourism centre. It provides information about the region, current event announcements, bus connections, Milín brochures and tourist stamps.

The publicly accessible garden of the Centrum volnočasových aktivit includes a climbing wall, Russian skittles, a children's sandbox, benches and a summer pavilion. Kino Milín regularly shows films, usually on Fridays and also twice a month on Tuesdays. School and special screenings are also held.

The Milín Masopust has been a recurring tradition since 2008. The programme includes a procession through the town with stops for performances and dancing. The Pochod malých broučků is also a recurring Milín tradition and reached its 27th edition.

Cycle Route 302 and two marked hiking trails pass through Milín. The Milín–Vrančice educational trail comprises an educational loop and a recreational sports circuit. The shorter circuit is approximately 1.7 kilometres long and has six stops. The educational trail also offers six play and interactive stations focusing on nature-related topics, especially for children.
