The church district of St. Wenceslas is the more significant preserved area of Nehvizdy’s historical heritage. The parish church of St. Wenceslas has been documented as a parish church since 1361. The Church of St. Wenceslas is a small building, originally Romanesque or early Gothic, dating from the end of the 13th century.

Culture

The memorial commemorating the parachute drop of Operation Anthropoid stands on U Hřbitova Street near the Nehvizdy sports complex. The site of the Anthropoid memorial is easily accessible to visitors. The sandstone monument is shaped like a parachute; three bronze rods or parachute cords bear the names of the paratroopers and the title of their mission.

Activities

The Nehvizdy sports complex has an athletics track, a football pitch, a beach volleyball court, and tennis courts. The Sokol Nehvizdy tennis complex is rented out to the general public during the summer months. The tennis complex is extensively used for its reconstructed tennis courts with artificial surfaces and new fencing.

The DIGA dance school offers the public, especially children and young people, courses in classical and modern dance, flamenco, dance gymnastics, Czech folk dance, hip-hop, and musical theatre dance. The APOLLÓNIE course takes place at Pražská 14 (ZUŠ), 250 81 Nehvizdy, in classroom No. 10.

Paths

The Cesta u sv. Anny is accessible and can be used by bicycle or on foot as far as the railway tracks in Mstětice. It provides access to the railway station and, after a few dozen metres, connects to the cycle path in Mstětice via the road.
