Nepřevázka: Hotels and Accommodation

Behind Nepřevázka, the Chlum educational trail initially leads through flower-rich meadows. Beyond Chloumek, it runs along the edge of thermophilous oak forests and leads to the well-known Švédské šance hillfort.

Nature and Trails

Chlum Nature Park consists of wooded and grassy slopes. It is home to 54 endangered plant species; the nature park has also been included in Natura 2000 as a site of European importance.

A forest path leads from Nepřevázka to Chloumek. Two newly created cycling routes and a restored path also start directly from Nepřevázka.

History and Culture

In the Early Middle Ages, a strongly fortified settlement of the Slavic Charváten tribe was established at Švédské šance. Archaeological finds indicate that the site has been inhabited since the Paleolithic. Švédské šance is an earthwork dating from the period of the earliest settlement of the landscape.

A memorial plaque at the hunting lodge in Chloumek commemorates Bedřich Smetana’s stay. Below the hunting lodge, a drinking-water spring feeds a fountain where visitors can refresh themselves.

The chapel in Nepřevázka is worth seeing.
