The Novostrašecko educational trail begins at the railway station in Nové Strašecí. The marked educational trail in Nové Strašecí and Pecínov is approximately ten kilometres long and leads through the town and countryside along field and forest roads and paths.

The Novostrašecko educational trail has 17 information boards and is signposted with cycling route markers. At nine stations, it introduces visitors to the local history, natural features and sights.
Culture and History
The Chapel of Saint Isidore in Nové Strašecí was built in 1711 in honour of the patron saint of farmers. Above Pecínov lies the newer Jewish cemetery, which was established in the mid-19th century and has survived to this day without major damage. The Nové Strašecí Museum organises workshops.
Viewpoint
The lookout tower on Mackova hora is 36 metres high. Its observation platform, located 21 metres above the ground, is reached by 98 spiral staircase steps. From the lookout tower, there are views of the Džbán Nature Park, the Křivoklátské Forests and part of Nové Strašecí.
