Obecnice: Hotels and Accommodation

The Fabiánova stezka educational trail runs through Obecnice and introduces tourists and cyclists to local sights as well as excursion destinations in the Podbrdsko region. The 9.5-kilometre cycle route 8198 connects Láz and Obecnice. The GEOFUN virtual educational trail is also located in the vicinity of Obecnice.

In 2023, a free augmented-reality app was used on a pilot basis on the Klobouček educational trail. At selected points in the forest, it displayed a red deer, a fox, or a tawny owl.

Koupaliště Obecnice is a 50 × 20-metre concrete pool fed by the Obecnický Stream, with a gently sloping bottom for swimmers and non-swimmers. The grounds include a well-maintained lawn, privacy screens for changing, toilets for up to 200 people, refreshments, and a children's play area with a small pool. Other facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, tennis, volleyball, and football tennis.

The Church of St Simon and St Jude is Obecnice's most important landmark and dates from 1807. Its tower was built in 1825, and two side chapels were added in 1854. The interior includes a valuable Neoclassical pulpit from the late 18th century and Empire-style doors in the west portal.

Part of the Obecnice municipal area lies within the CHKO Brdy Protected Landscape Area, which was established on 1 January 2016. The protected features include valuable forest stands, meadows, wetlands, heathlands, and numerous streams.
