Okřesaneč: Hotels and Accommodations
The Church of St. Bartholomew stands in Okřesaneč. It is a late Romanesque building with some Gothic elements and a Renaissance tower. It was first mentioned in 1352. The church originally had two bells: one from 1519 and one from 1638. The protected complex also includes an ossuary, a perimeter wall with gates, and the associated grounds.
Townscape and Location
The Church of St. Bartholomew stands in the eastern part of Okřesaneč, on the road to Nesvačily and Liteň. The older part of Okřesaneč stretches along the Vejrovka stream.
Historical Traces
Outside Okřesaneč, the former inn stands by the road, on the left-hand side of the road to Golčův Jeníkov. The former inn complex consists of a residential building with an inn, an agricultural building, and perimeter walls with gates. A monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars stands in the village square by the cemetery.
Traditions and Events
At the end of the carnival season, a traditional masked procession takes place in Okřesaneč, ending with a dance celebration. Registration for the FichtlCup is possible directly on race day or in advance.
