Přílepy: Hotels and Accommodation

Directly above Přílepy lies Přílepská skála on a wooded hill surrounded by fields. The climbing area offers numerous bouldering and endurance routes; the central wall is approximately 12 metres high. Climbing at Přílepská skála is permitted year-round, but the permission applies only to members of ČHS.

Stone and Villagescape

Especially during the penultimate century, the well-known Přílepák sandstone was quarried in the local quarries for millstones, statues and other stonework. The originally late Baroque crucifix in the lower part of Přílepy’s elongated rectangular village square bears the year 1764. House No. 2 is also located in Přílepy; it is a historic inn with a Baroque gable design.

Nature and Landscape

Bahna u Přílep is a registered significant landscape element and a wetland site. The Ptačí vrch hill [Pšovlky] and the Blatina hill [Rakovník] lie in the vicinity of Přílepy. The Džbán and Loustín mountains are also located in the vicinity of Přílepy.

Community and Culture

Přílepská pouť is a traditional gathering of local residents and friends of the municipality in the park on the village square. The 2022 edition of Přílepská pouť was a family celebration.

The U Svatého Gotharda Church is located in the vicinity of Přílepy. In the wider regional surroundings of Přílepy are the ruins of Pravda Castle, the ruins of Týřov Castle and the Svatý Prokop Monument.
