The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Panoší Újezd was already a parish church in the 14th century. Its presbytery dates from the original 14th-century church building; the church was built in 1718.
The medieval and early modern centre of Panoší Újezd is registered as a Category I archaeological area. The village is also home to the log house bearing house number 49.
The 1922 war memorial features a medallion of Jan Hus and is considered one of the first Jan Hus monuments in the Czech Republic. The land reform monument stands at the crossroads on the road to Rousínov and was erected in 1932.
Later, the settlement was divided into Velký Újezd, which belonged directly to Křivoklát Castle, and Panoší Újezd, which had a feudal relationship with the castle. There were 21 castle vassals of Křivoklát Castle in the village.
Nature and Landscape
Panoší Újezd lies on the north-western edge of the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area. There is a pond on the Tyterský stream in the village; Hůrka Hill is a landscape landmark of Panoší Újezd.
The registered significant landscape feature Údolí východně Soudného vrchu is one of the natural and landscape values of Panoší Újezd and is considered a spring area with irregular woodland. The spring area of the Dubský stream is also among these natural and landscape values.
The Křivoklátsko UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the Barrandien National Geopark are also listed among the natural and landscape values of Panoší Újezd.
Transport and Cycling Route
Road II/233 runs through Panoší Újezd and connects Rakovník with Plzeň via Radnice. Cycling route 0046 is also listed in Panoší Újezd.
