Pletený Újezd lies on a gentle slope at the foot of Kožova hora, a mountain rising 456 m above sea level. The Kožova Forest borders the village to the northwest. From the lookout tower on this mountain, views extend across the entire Central Bohemian Uplands to the border mountains. In the nearby surroundings are the hill (Na Horkách) [Malé Přítočno] and Brdce Hill [Horní Bezděkov]. Culture

At the forest crossroads known as “U obrázku,” there is a tradition associated with an image of the Virgin Mary dating back to 1651. The former farmstead No. 5, with its residential building, gate, and agricultural buildings, is a cultural monument of the Kladno District. The chapel was completely reconstructed in 2014. Various cultural events, exhibitions, and dance events can be attended in Pletený Újezd.

Activities

The 32 km-long KO 8 “Unhošťský okruh” cycling route passes through Pletený Újezd. TJ Meteor Pletený Újezd has three sports areas: a football pitch, a multifunctional court with artificial turf, and a tennis court. A booking system is available for the multifunctional court and tennis court, allowing appointments to be reserved.
