Ratbor: Hotels and Accommodation
Culture and History
The oldest cultural monument in Ratboř is the Church of Saint Wenceslas, first mentioned in writing in 1352. Originally Gothic, it was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1673; a bell tower was added around 1700. In front of the church stands a sculptural group depicting the Apotheosis of Saint John of Nepomuk.
The protected Ratboř chateau complex comprises the New Chateau, also known as Mandelíkova Villa, as well as a park with sculptural features.
The Baroque barn is the most distinctive surviving remnant of Ratboř’s former farmyard. The granary was extensively and professionally restored in 2018–2019 and stands in an open area between the Old Chateau and the Church of Saint Wenceslas.
The remains of the Skokanovský Mill are freely accessible at your own risk.
