Skvrňov is a place whose history can be read in clearly identifiable traces. The Church of St. Havel was built in the first quarter of the 13th century by a construction workshop of Sázava Monastery. Its tower houses a bell dating from 1489 that is 0.66 metres high and has a diameter of 0.84 metres.

The old centre of Skvrňov, with the Church of St. Havel, is an area with archaeological finds. House No. 38 also points to the history of the place: it was a blacksmith's forge from the 19th century. A covered wooden gallery is located on its western side.
A depiction on House No. 74 shows a costumed young man on horseback. The war memorial in Skvrňov commemorating those who fell in the First World War was ceremonially unveiled on 12 June 1921.
