Smilovice: Hotels and Accommodations

Culture

In Rejšice, a district of Smilovice, the Church of St. John of Nepomuk was built between 1730 and 1735 and most recently reconstructed in 1885. The Cemetery Chapel of St. Giles has foundations dating back to the 14th century and is the surviving remnant of the former church of Rejšice. The existing urban structure of Rejšice, with the village square and the Church of St. John of Nepomuk as the dominant building, is to be preserved. On the village square in Újezd stands a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from 1728; it was restored in 2014. North of Rejšice, on the road to Kosořice, stands a stone chapel dedicated to Saint Anne.

Nature

The Vlkava 4–Smilovice fishing grounds cover 2.5 hectares in the cadastral area of Smilovice. Rejšický Pond is designated as a functioning local ecological biocorridor.

Landscape

The existing network of local roads in Smilovice connects the surrounding settlements and provides access to forest and agricultural areas. Small facilities for hiking and cycling tourism are permitted in the Smilovice landscape area.
