Třebestovice lies on the edge of the Kersko forest complex and is part of Kersko Nature Park.

History and Local Landmarks

Třebestovice is first mentioned in 993. The cross standing opposite the belfry was erected at the end of the 19th century using voluntary donations. A covered Marian monument stands in a forest near the forester's lodge. The monument to those who fell in the First World War in front of the inn was unveiled on 28 October 1929.

Educational Trails and Paths

A local educational trail was created in Třebestovice to mark the 1,020th anniversary of the municipality's foundation. A hiking trail leads to Kersko from the Poříčany–Nymburk railway line, on which Třebestovice is located. The newly marked Bohumil Hrabal Educational Trail is 13 kilometres long, includes 13 plus 1 stations with information panels, and ends at Panenská cesta near Třebestovice.

The Kančí stezka is an easy nature trail approximately 0.5 kilometres long between the Kerská–Žižkova and Kerská–Lesní intersections in Třebestovice. It features seven interactive elements and is intended for children, families and schools. The Třebestovice–Sadská cycle path is part of the network of regional cycle routes in the Central Bohemian Region.
