Historic Centre and History
The archaeological historic centre of Trhové Dušníky lies on the left bank of the Litavka, at its confluence with the Příbramský potok. The local fortress of Trhové Dušníky was first documented in 1581.
A protected section of the Dědičná štola císaře Josefa II. runs as an underground passage from the Ševčiny mine to its outlet area near Trhové Dušníky.
The Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity has an atypical centrally arranged floor plan with a short hexagonal nave. It was probably created by rebuilding an early Baroque château chapel from the 17th century.
Southeast of the village green and the former château, the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity stands at the edge of a flat, low, grass-covered terrace. This slopes down via a short incline further southeast towards two ponds.
Landscape and Trails
The Fabiánova educational trail passes through Trhové Dušníky and is intended for tourists and cyclists.
Due to their morphology and formation, the bends of the Litavka in the area of Trhové Dušníky and downstream correspond more closely to a laterally displaced riverbed than to classic meandering. Such lateral instability of a riverbed is rare in the Czech Republic.
The Velká Třemošná mountain, Velký Chlum mountain, Kuchyňka mountain and Hejlák mountain are located in the vicinity of Trhové Dušníky.

The Zřícenina Valdek ruins and the Svatá Anna Church are located in the vicinity of Trhové Dušníky.
In the wider regional surroundings of Trhové Dušníky are Karlštejn Castle, the historical site of Lety u Písku, and the Memorial to the Holocaust of Roma and Sinti in Bohemia.
