Úholičky: Hotels and accommodation

In Úholičky, the “Rozhlédni se, člověče” circular trail and educational trail begin in the village square and run along the left bank of the Vltava. The first section of the tourist educational trail also starts in the village square; visitors can pick up cards with questions for the individual stops there.

Trails and landscape

The section of the “Rozhlédni se, člověče” educational trail passing through Úholičky leads through a cherry orchard, a birch grove and along a farm track to the Stříbrník trail junction. From the summit of Řivnáč, there are views of the Vltava towards Prague and Kralupy, as well as of the “Vlčí jáma” gorge. Mount Řivnáč is also associated with archaeological finds from the Stone Age and the Bronze Age.

Pilgrimage routes and connections

The Stezka sv. Ludmily, which passes through Úholičky, is part of a 132 km pilgrimage route with 11 stages connecting important places associated with the beginnings of Czech statehood. The fourth stage leads from Budeč via Svrkyně, Noutonice, Velké Přílepy and Úholičky to Levý Hradec in Roztoky.

The “Od Okoře k Vltavě” route also passes through Úholičky. It is approximately 45 km long and suitable for pedestrians and cyclists. The Přívoz Úholičky–Husinec–Řež ferry connects Úholičky and Husinec–Řež and links the cycle paths of both municipalities.

Places along the route

The “Rozhlédni se, člověče” educational trail leads to the Švestkovna rope playground. At the Na Krakově open-air theatre, large swings and a slide were built on the site of the former open-air theatre.

History and park

Úholičky Chateau is a protected cultural monument complex and has been protected as a heritage site since 1958. The chateau includes a three-hectare English-style landscaped park where rare trees planted at the time have survived to this day.

Golf SNAIL

Golf SNAIL is a nine-hole public golf course in Úholičky. The golf course can be reached by S4 train from Masarykovo nádraží to Úholičky station; from there, a forest path leads uphill to the golf club. One of the tees at the Golf SNAIL course offers an impressive view of the Vltava valley.

The Golf Snail Gallery is part of the Golf SNAIL golf club. Exhibition openings take place as part of every SPG Tour tournament. The Snail ZOO is also located in the area above the chipping green, where bees and several goats are currently kept.
