Unhost: Hotels and accommodations

In Unhošť, the Melicharovo vlastivědné muzeum is located in the building of the former Unhošť town hall, house number 1. The sv. Huberta educational trail begins at the museum; it is 3 km long. The Chapel of sv. Huberta, dating from 2018, also stands near the educational trail.

Culture and history

The existing church tower in Unhošť was added in 1655–1657 and served as a bell tower. The presbytery of the church in Unhošť contains a Gothic sandstone sanctuary from the 14th century.

Faith and sacred sites

The cemetery chapel of sv. Barbory dates from the late 17th century. It acquired its present appearance through a reconstruction in the second half of the 19th century. The chapel in Žlábek is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and is associated with a miraculous spring. A pilgrimage to it takes place every year.

Nature

In the vicinity of Unhošť, Markův mlýn was designated a natural monument in 1993. Also in the vicinity of Unhošť, near Markův mlýn, there are rare plant communities of rocky steppes, including Czech yellow star-of-Bethlehem, pasque flower and Sesel gray.
