Nature and Landscape
The Červené dolíky area covers the cadastral territory of Malíkovice and protects the lady's slipper orchid (Cypripedium calceolus). Malíkovická stráň is also a habitat of this rare orchid species. In addition, a 400-year-old pedunculate oak stands east of Malíkovice.
The Pozdeňský les [Mšec] mountain is located nearby. Loustín Mountain is situated in the vicinity of Malíkovice. The wider regional surroundings also include Boušov and Tuchonín mountains.
Church and Local History
The Church of All Saints in Malíkovice was already a parish church in 1384. A sacristy was added to it in 1826.
The former Malíkovice fortress was first mentioned in 1418. After Malíkovice was no longer a noble residence, the former fortress was gradually adapted for agricultural purposes. It is designated as an area with archaeological finds.
Water and Events
The revitalized Karpfenteich pond in Malíkovice, which was dredged in 2013–2014, is used by locals and tourists, especially during the summer months. Rozloučení s prázdninami is considered a traditional event featuring outdoor entertainment and a gathering with celebrants.
