History and culture
The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk was consecrated on 4 May 1837. It stands on the site where a wooden bell tower had stood since time immemorial. The chapel and the demarcated grounds are protected as heritage sites.
The stone ornamental cross on the lower village square of Zvánovice was fully restored in 2022. The memorial to the inhabitants who fell in the First World War was erected in 1922 on the village square near the school.
Before Christmas Eve, people regularly gather around the chapel and the linden trees to listen to Christmas carols and warm themselves with hot drinks.
