Bukovice: Hotels and Accommodation

Mount Ostaš is located in the vicinity of Bukovice. Within the municipality of Bukovice, below Mount Ostaš, lies part of Zone II of the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area. Ostaš is home to two rock cities with numerous and varied rock formations.

Nature

The nearby area of Bukovice also includes Mount Supí Hnízdo and Mount Špičák. Mount Velká kupa is located in the vicinity of Bukovice.

Hiking

Several named routes pass through Bukovice. The 14.4-kilometre-long Hvězda Route passes through Bukovice and then continues towards Hvězda. The 12.7-kilometre-long Ostaš Route leads via Nebíčko and Bukovice onwards to Ostaš. The 16.4-kilometre-long Hony Route passes through Bukovice and offers views of Ostaš and the Broumov Walls.

The Ostaš circular hiking trail leads across the summit plateau of Ostaš and along its rocky edge. There are several developed and unique viewpoints along this rocky edge. In the Ostaš Nature Reserve, climbing is permitted in the appropriately marked areas under the protection regulations of Broumovsko.

Winter and Leisure

The Nebíčko ski area is located between Police nad Metují and Bukovice in the direction of Broumov. Every hole on Artamon's adventure golf course is original and unique. Artamon offers a Finnish sauna for 16 people at 85–95 °C, a bio sauna for 10 people at 65–75 °C, and a whirlpool for 6 people.

Culture and History

A column with an Immaculata dating from 1747 stands beside a road in Bukovice. Bukovice was founded around 1220 by Benedictines from Police; they built a manor farm there, which was still mentioned in 1405.
